I have long been of the opinion that the vast majority were a complete waste of money being nothing more than sorbolene cream with a perfume and a slick advertising campaign.

There are 3 main ways to reduce ageing with skin care

  1. prevention of further damage via a high quality moisturiser with a SPF added
  2. repair of previous damage by topical creams or serums (retin A type creams and vitamin C serum)
  3. removal of damaged layers by skin resurfacing (laser, chemical peel or dermabrasion)
