Chin Augmentation – non Surgical Sydney NSW

    Wednesday, March 31st, 2010

Most people know about dermal fillers and there use in facial rejuvenation. Fillers are also used to augment certain facial features such as cheek bones and the chin. Before this has been limited due to the frequency required to maintain a certain aesthetic appearance. However Allergan have just added Voluma to their range which is a hyaluronic acid filler that lasts for up to 2-3 years. This substance is perfect for semi-permanent facial augmentation.

For more info on voluma click below

Dr Pincock has performed many cheek and chin augmentations with this new filler and it is perfect for patients who want to try out a new chin or cheekbones without committing to a permanent procedure.

Voluma is performed by Dr Pincock in the rooms under local anaesthesia, the results are instantaneous and takes about 30 minutes.

    Cheek Implants

    Monday, February 1st, 2010

As we age the normal cheek volume descends downwards producing two classic characteristics of ageing.

Firstly the loss of normal cheekbone volume and definition and secondly deeper nasolabial folds

this can be addressed temporarily by fillers – in particular the new voluma from the juvederm range

for a permanent result patients may opt for cheek implants, these are similar to chin implants but are designed to sit over the cheekbone giving a more prominent cheekbone. They are inserted through a tiny incision on the inside of the cheek and give an amazing result.
